In a quondam life, it used to be me. I was the one behind the bar, slicing the citrus garnishes, filling the ice machine, wiping down the sticky alcohol bottles. Now, after years of envying couples coming in for a drink or friends meeting up for Happy Hour, it’s my turn. I’m the critic of my cocktails. I decide if I want to use the bartender as a therapist. I subjectively choose who to flirt with instead of being the default object placed in front of salacious bachelors.
Cheers to crisp gin and tonics served with scintillating stories.

Wow. A bartender on the other side. What do you do now, well other than use big words to describe the bar experience. I must say I do like your descriptive wording. I can almost taste that gin and well mine would just be gin and a lime. Can’t wait to see your first post.
